Training in the Critical Skills Programme enables teachers to
develop advanced teaching skills, including:
- deploying a wide range of highly effective teaching
strategies
- creating an environment for learning that motivates
and engages pupils
- designing learning activities to:
• promote deeper understanding - of essential
knowledge
• develop key skills - problem solving, decision
making, critical and creative thinking, communication, management,
