Training Workshops

This is an opportunity for educational organisations to participate in Designer Workshops. These are typically offered to schools who have trained a sufficient number of their teachers and staff in the Critical Skills Programme model and who are seeking to implement the model in a more targeted way to address specific needs.

Workshops enable educational organisations to:

  • Use the expertise of the Critical Skills Programme consultants, either alone or in conjunction with on-site specialists.
  • Design and to facilitate varied and stimulating programmes for staff training.
  • Focus on specific need areas in a wide array of circumstances.

For example a school might request:

  • A Workshop designed to integrate Learning Support teachers in a Critical Skills classroom.
  • A more specific Workshop geared to address the development of writing skills in its English programme.
  • A Workshop that facilitate meetings designed to develop policies within an individual school, an LEA or an EAZ.

These Workshops take time to develop and require careful coordination with the educational organization and our consultants.
